Although we are missing festival season this spring, let's reflect on the incredible memories these events have given us. While we are in quarantine, let's be reminded of how special these festivals are and how excited we will be when they are back. Take a trip down memory lane and check out these festival highlights.
Bryan Cranston at EDC
Above and Beyond went above and beyond at EDC 2015. One of their tracks samples Bryan Cranston's iconic line "Say My Name" from the show "Breaking Bad". As a surprise during their set, they had Cranston make a guest appearance and said the legendary phrase on the mic.
Justin Bieber at Hard Summer
Diplo and Skrillex's side project, Jack U, closed out Hard Summer 2015 in San Bernadino, CA. Their hit song "Where Are U Now" began to play and the vocalist, Justin Bieber, shocked the crowd and made a special appearance. This was his first time ever guest performing at a music festival.
Elton John at Outsidelands
Outsidelands, like Coachella, is known for adding classic acts to their lineup. In 2015, Elton John gave a standout performance to fans, old and new. The rocket man brought contagious energy to the stage that attendees will never forget.
Odesza at Coachella
In 2018, electronic duo Odesza wowed the crowd at Coachella with their unique live set. During the finale, a sea of drones came to together to from their geometric symbol in the night sky. This was a sight that no one will forget.
Porter Robinson and Madeon at Coachella
At Coachella 2017, Porter Robinson and Madeon performed their finale show from the Shelter tour. The dynamic duo played an iconic set at the main stage during sunset. The two shared heartfelt sentiments and tears during their performance as well.
Flume at Snowglobe
Snowglobe is known for hosting their festival during New Year's weekend. Each year, they choose a headliner to ring in the new year. In 2014, Flume was given the opportunity to create that magical moment for thousands of festival-goers. With "You and Me" ringing in 2015, it was nothing short of spectacular.
Kygo at CRSSD
When Kygo and CRSSD were both up and coming, they joined forces and created an unforgettable memory. CRRSD festival had Kygo play during sunset. With Kygo's melodic, tropical tunes playing while overlooking the San Diego bay, this moment became one for the books.
Will Smith at Ultra
Marshmello performed at Ultra Miami in 2018 and brought out a guest no one expected. He transitioned into "Miami" by Will Smith and then he started singing the song on stage. The moment went in festival history.
